Elite Maths Challenge Cup International Mathematics Competition
Elite Maths Challenge Cup is an annual international competition attracts teams from numerous regions across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and countries such as Japan, the USA, the UK, Malaysia, and Singapore, with over a thousand students participating each year.
To foster students’ interest in learning, enhance their mathematical thinking abilities, and provide a platform for international exchange among young learners, the organising committee is pleased to announce that the 2026 Elite Maths Challenge Cup International Mathematics Competition will be held in Malaysia on 26 July 2026. Educational institutions from all regions are welcome to nominate contestants.

We kindly invite you to join as Malaysia Baxter team. Furthermore, we will invite candidates with excellent result to join next OMC competition.
Elite Maths Challenge Cup International Mathematics Competition 2026
Important Info
1) Location: Management & Science University (MSU), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
2) Date: 26 July 2026 (Sunday)
3) Schedule: Morning: Competition Sessions, Afternoon: Awards Presentation Ceremony
Results will be announced on-site and, on the website, before the award ceremony start.
4) Dress Code:
Malaysia Contestants must wear formal school uniform + sport shoes
‼️ Do not wear slippers or PE uniform.
Parents / Companions / Teachers / guardians must wear proper attire to enter the school premises.
‼️ For entry into the school premises, please do not wear short pants, sleeveless tops, or slippers.
‼️ If you are dressed inappropriately, you may be prohibited from participating in the competition and attending the award ceremony.
5) Language Of Paper: Bahasa Melayu, English & Chinese (Each language is in individual paper.)
Categories:
.✦ ݁˖ Category A: Mental Arithmetic
.✦ ݁˖ Category B: Mathematics
.✦ ݁˖ Category C: Flash Mental Calculation (Participants must participate Categories A OR to be eligible for Category C)
.✦ ݁˖ Category D: King of Mathematics (Participants must compete in both Categories A ANDB to be eligible for Category D. Their scores from Categories A and B will be combined and evaluated together for entry into Category D)
Material Fees:
💰 Category A: RM350 per candidate
💰 Category B: RM350 per candidate
💰 Category C: RM50 per candidate
💰 Category D: Free
Competition Schedule (Subject to change based on the actual situation):
09:00 – 09:30 Mental Arithmetic Competition – Main Paper (3 min) + Tie-Breaker Paper (1 min)
10:00 – 10:30 Flash Calculation Competition (10 min)
11:00 – 12:00 Mathematical Thinking Competition (40 min)
14:00 – 17:00 Award Ceremony – Introduction of guests, speeches by the organizing committee, and the awards presentation ceremony.
** Each participant may be accompanied by ONE adult only to attend the Award Ceremony.

Disclaimer:
- Contestants must have the consent of a parent/guardian to participate. If false information regarding the birth date or grade level is reported and verified, the contestant will be disqualified and any awards will be revoked.
- During the whole event, a parent/guardian/teacher/companions must accompany the contestant until the end of the award ceremony.
- Once registered, the competition category cannot be changed. If a contestant decides to withdraw, the registration fee is non-refundable.
- The organiser has the ultimate authority and makes the final decision in all disputes arising from the competition.

- There is no replacement exam under any circumstances of absentee.
- No fee will be refund.
- No reschedule of exam.
- The Organiser does not provide transportation, meals/refreshments, or stationery/materials.
- Please join the exam on the date and time allowed only.
- The organizing committee reserved the final decision-making rights on all disputes.

Students who registered for EMCC 2026 either Mental Arithmetic or Mathematics will be invited to participate in OMC 2026 and TAPIR Science 2026 online competitions with PAJSK during the May & June 2026 school holidays.
