The Olympia Mathematics Competition (OMC) is a prestigious international math competition open to students from Malaysia and abroad. It aims to ignite students’ interest in mathematics and enhance their logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Since its inception, OMC has consistently been one of Malaysia’s most influential math competitions.

OMC 2025 is an online exam.
Important Info
Exam Date: 14-6-2025 Saturday and 15-6-2025, Sunday
System will open from 10am – 9pm during 14-6-2025 and 15-6-2025.
Registration Fee: USD 25 per candidate.
Mode: Online competition
You need a computer equipped with functioning mic and camera with fast & stable internet connection.
Venue: at home / own place ** quiet environment ** plain background without any image or photo
Category: Kindergarten (6 years old only), Year 1 (Standard 1) – Year 12 (Form 6) (According to school year after 8th March 2025.)
Language Of Paper: Malay + Chinese + English (within the same question)
Total Number Of Questions: 25 multiple choices questions
Time allowed to answer questions: 40 minutes
Important Notice:
Candidate has to complete the competition on his/her own.
Candidates are NOT ALLOWED to use Calculator / dictionary / mobile phone / refer to any website or any material / get help or guidance from any one.
Candidates will be disqualified if perform any of the actions above.
In case of tied scores (in the same category), the participant with the shorter completion time will be ranked higher.

What to prepare for online competition?
Award
Participants will be awarded based on their performance and ranking as follows:

| Platinum Award | Given to the top 5% of participants. | medal + e-certificate |
| Gold Award | Given to the next 5% of participants. | medal + e-certificate |
| Silver Award | Given to the next 10% of participants. | medal + e-certificate |
| Bronze Award | Given to the next 15% of participants. | medal + e-certificate |
| Honorable Mention | Given to the next 15% of participants. | medal + e-certificate |
| Merit | Given to the next 15% of participants. | medal + e-certificate |
| Participation | Given to the remaining participants who joined the competition successfully. | e-certificate |
Please take note:
** Participants who are did not complete the competition / did not join the competition successfully / disqualified will not receive any e-certificate.
** The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant and his or her result due to any violation or suspicious behaviour.
** Participants who are disqualified might not allowed to participate in future events.
