The Junior and Senior English Olympics (JEO-SEO) (Australia)
The Junior and Senior English Olympics (JEO-SEO) are international Olympiads that promote the English language, challenge students around the globe to compete in English language knowledge, and improve cooperation between teachers. Nearly 20 countries and regions, including Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Mongolia (and more countries/ regions), participate in JEO every year. JEO and SEO are a non-profit organization founded in 2020 to promote the importance of English language knowledge and bring together children from different countries. JEO and SEO encourage the development of a shared sense of identity and integration, serving as a role model for young people living together as one community. The primary objective is to foster and nurture friendly relations, international understanding, and a spirit of sporting competitiveness among young people from around the world who are interested in the English language.
JEO and SEO are not only for Junior students, but each participating school may also organize its students in each category, from Kindergarten to Grade 10 (Primary 1 to 6, Secondary 1 to 6). Students can receive prizes for their achievements in this Olympiad. Per category, 60% of the JEO National round qualifiers for the Global Round. The main goal is to create and nourish friendly relations, international understanding, and a spirit of sporting competitiveness between young people interested in the English language from all around the world.

JEO - SEO Global Round 2025
Students who are eligible to compete for the Global Round 2025/2026 are those who garnered Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in the JEO-SEO 2025/2026 Qualification round. Participation in the Global Round is voluntary in nature. Registration fee and details please refer to the below section.
Global Round 2025/2026 will be at Sydney, Australia during 12-16 April 2026.

JEO-SEO 2025/2026 Qualification Round is an online competition.
You can join at home or any convenient venue.
You need a computer equipped with functioning mic and camera with fast & stable internet connection.

Exam Date: 15-12-2025, Monday until 31-12-2025, Wednesday
System will open from 24 hours daily.
Registration Fee: Fee is RM15.00 per candidate

Correct answer: + 4 point
Incorrect answer: – 1 point
Blank/unanswered: 0 point
If scores are tied, the time used will be the deciding factor.
