Malaysia Encyclopedia Challenge
Malaysia Encyclopedia Challenge is an online competition where students from grades 1 to 11 participate, with questions designed to know about MALAYSIA.
The spirit of patriotism is a key pillar in strengthening national unity. It is also about appreciating our motherland in every dimension – its natural environment, heritage, cultural history and its people. With this in mind, we at Baxter Training & Consultancy plan to organise the MALAYSIA ENCYCLOPEDIA CHALLENGE 2026 at the national level.
This competition aims to encourage our young generation to get to know our homeland, Malaysia, by learning history, understanding heritage and embracing local culture. Through this competition, we hope to strengthen the spirit of patriotism within their hearts, and to raise awareness that Malaysia has its own unique strengths so that they will love our homeland and be proud of Malaysia as our country. As the saying goes, even if gold rains in a foreign land, the rain in our own country is still special in its own unique way.
Students who are qualified will be invited to compete in the Final Round for FREE (Online).
THE Malaysia Encyclopedia Challenge AIMS TO:

What to prepare for online competition?
What to prepare for online exam?
Exams are monitored through a camera system integrated into the exam platform. Students must use a device with an active, functioning camera and mic with stable internet connectivity throughout the exam. Meanwhile, the exam portal will also record the candidate screen activities for exam security during the exam. So you have to make sure your device, browser, internet connection, camera and screen sharing meet the technical requirements and are properly set up for a smooth and uninterrupted exam experience.

System will open from 10am to 9pm. Participants MUST submit answer before 9pm.

Mode: Online competition
Category: Year 1 (Standard 1) – Year 11 (Form 5) (According to school year after 11th January 2026.)
Language Of Paper: Malay + Chinese + English (within the same question)
Total Number Of Questions: 25 Multiple choice questions
Time allowed to answer questions: 15 minutes
What to prepare for qualification round exam?

Awards
– The top 5% of the participants will receive a Digital TIN Achievement Certificate (in honor of Malaysia’s tin ore).
– The next 10% of the participants will receive a Digital GOLD Achievement Certificate.
– The next 20% of the participants will receive a Digital SILVER Achievement Certificate.
– The next 20% of the participants will receive a Digital BRONZE Achievement Certificate.
– The next 25% of the participants will receive a Digital HONORABLE MENTION Achievement Certificate.
– The last 20% of the participants will receive a Digital Participation Certificates.
Please complete the exam with honesty and integrity. Cheating or any form of misconduct is strictly prohibited. You will be disqualified if any exam rules.
Final Round printed certificates and medals can be ordered with an additional fee after the results are announced.
Malaysia Encyclopedia Challenge 2026 Qualification Round is an online competition.
You can join at home or any convenient venue.
You need a computer equipped with functioning mic and camera with fast & stable internet connection.

Please take note of the following:
- Candidate has to complete the competition on his/her own.
- The use of calculators, books, dictionary, printed materials and dictionaries is strictly prohibited during the exam.
- Opening any browser tab other than the exam tab will trigger a notification to the exam center and a warning will appear on the screen. Such actions may result in the cancellation of your exam results.
- The use of AI tools to answer exam questions is strictly prohibited. The exam center employs advanced monitoring and analysis to detect irregular or AI-generated responses. Any attempt to use AI assistance will result in the immediate cancellation of exam results and disqualification from the competitions.
- All exam activity will be recorded. Any detected cheating will result in disqualification and cancellation of exam results.
Scoring Criteria
Question 1 to 10: each correct answer gain 3 points
Question 11 to 20: each correct answer gain 4 points
Question 21 to 24: each correct answer gain 5 points
Question 25: correct answer gain 10 points
Incorrect answer/Blank/unanswered questions: 0 point
In case of tied scores (in the same category), the participant with the shorter completion time will be ranked higher.
Students who are qualified will be invited to compete in the Final Round for FREE.

- There is no replacement exam under any circumstances of absentee.
- No fee will be refund.
- No reschedule of exam.
- Please join the exam on the date and time allowed only.
- The organizing committee reserved the final decision-making rights on all disputes.
